Job Description
We are looking for a Sales & Project Specialist Technical Sales to strengthen our team in Barendrecht. In this role, you will work closely with the outside sales team, purchasing department, and engineering within John Crane Holland and other John Crane locations.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving and developing technical inquiries for mechanical seals, couplings, filters, and other product groups based on technical specifications, required delivery time, and available budget;
- Evaluating orders with the prepared quotes;
- Providing technical (commercial) support to customers;
- Streamlining the deliveries of project-based and regular supplies to manufacturers (OEM) and end-users;
- Compiling the required documentation;
- Providing technical support to colleagues and customers;
- Communicating regularly with customers and other external parties involved;
- Regularly consulting with all involved departments and actively resolving bottlenecks in consultation;
- Actively identifying deviations, solving them, and/or adjusting project planning while keeping the agreements with the customer intact;
- Organizing so-called ‘Kick-off’ meetings with both customers and suppliers.
Qualifications
- HBO work and thinking level. Preferably a degree in HTS Mechanical Engineering (WTB).
- Commercial/technical background, preferably in an industrial company.
- Several years of work experience, preferably in an industrial company.
- Experience with data processing in SAP, CRM, Excel, Word, and possibly PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Proficiency in a third language (German, French) is a plus.
