Responsible for executing the growth strategy for the brand in the Healthcare & Medical industry by developing and executing an annual Sales & Business Development Plan, in line with company strategy.
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and executing the entire sales process from generating leads and nurturing customer relationships to negotiating terms and finalizing deals. The Sales & Development Manager medical operates from a strong track record in the Medical, Healthcare or related industry and deep expertise in the medical polypropylene market including knowledge of key players
Sales & Development Plan:
~ Developing and implementing a comprehensive annual Sales/Business Development Plan, for the Medical segment, comprising targeted account plans with SMART action plans and schedules to achieve (new) business development and customer account objectives.
Client Relationship and New Business Development :
Identify key accounts, OEMs, and brand owners in the Healthcare & Medical Industry
Active representation of the company at trade fairs, events, and networking meetings.
Market Intelligence & Product Portfolio Development:
Analysing customer needs and research on the latest market developments.
Collaborate with Technical Sales in translating customer needs into product improvements / innovations.
Introducing new products with customers, including testing and gathering feedback
Sales Results and Reporting:
Achieve revenue and profit targets through effective monitoring and reporting of sales activities
Periodically report results to Management team
Responsible for managing and closing the full sales process including resolving bottlenecks in the sales cycle and give recommendations for process improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Strong track record in the Medical, Healthcare or related industries
Deep expertise in the medical polypropylene market including knowledge of key players.
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards for medical devices (preferred)
Proficiency in CRM, ERP, or similar software
