Learning and Development Specialist


This position has an individual contributor role and oversees learning and development curriculum across multiple audiences creating consistent practices for design, and establishing methods for delivery assuring that learning events are successful and meet business goals. Responsibilities/ Tasks: Assess scope of learning and development needs across all supported audiences. Collaborate with country senior leadership in sales to understand the business needs and provide strategic insights to support growth and transformation in learning & development scope. Develop, implement, and lead the Regional Learning and Onboarding strategy. Create schedules for development, delivery, and methods for evaluation. Collaborate with Centers of Excellence within Human Resources, Sales Enablement, and Brand to ensure alignment and strategically targeted curriculum. Design and develop programs for learning experiences spanning the learner audience tenure, role, and competence. Design and facilitate standard curriculum, as well as custom-curated curriculum for audience-specific assessed development needs, project-managing processes to completion. Within curriculum design and facilitation practices, cultivate a sense of belonging and demonstrate valuing differences among all audiences. Develop instructional strategies, course materials in multiple formats, assessment techniques, and appropriate integration of instructional technologies and best practices for all learning events. Leverage multimedia technology and authoring tools to support the online and in-person learning environments. Research and make recommendations regarding relevant adult learning best practices, instructional resources, instructional technologies, and multimedia hardware/software to support continuous improvement of facilitation and easily accessible learning. Ensure that all learning materials are relevant and within branding standards. Serve as a subject-matter expert for the enterprise Learning Management System. Responsible for adoption and deployment across the region. Position Requirements: Fluent in English (spoken and written), fluent in second language (German or French). Minimum of 5+ years experience in Sales and training development/and or functions within. Minimum of 2 years facilitation experience in the classroom or virtual classroom. Strong knowledge of learning and development best practices including adult learning theory, learning styles, writing, and measuring effective objectives. Strong knowledge of instructional design processes and strategies including standards for planning and implementing instructional design and development, instructional technology media and materials development and implementation principles and curriculum standards, and assessments. Proven track record designing large complex training rollouts of new systems and processes, assessing needs, determining scope, and utilizing resources effectively. Excellent communication and presentation skills with all levels within the organization for developing content and interacting with the audience. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects. Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with any LMS is a plus.
