Sales Engineer - Water Treatment

Job information Your primary focus will be acquiring new customers while providing dedicated support to existing clients, serving as their first point of contact on-site. You will assist customers in implementing industry guidelines across all water-bearing systems, e.g. by developing tailored treatment and cost-saving concepts. A key aspect of your role will be applying and further developing innovative water treatment solutions. With your expertise, you will actively drive new business opportunities. Through hands-on customer engagement, you will strengthen relationships, expand the client base, and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets. Additionally, you will enhance your knowledge by participating in seminars, conferences, and industry events, sharing valuable insights with colleagues through internal training sessions. Requirements - You have several years of experience in technical sales of chemical water treatment and are well-versed in the industry. - You have a technical or scientific background, with training in chemistry, wastewater technology, biology, or a comparable field. - You are highly organized and can independently plan and manage your customer visits. - You thrive in interdisciplinary work and are open to new, innovative solutions. - Strong communication skills enable you to engage effectively at various decision-making levels, and you present yourself in a confident and persuasive manner. - You are comfortable working remotely, hold a Class B driving license, and enjoy working in the field. - You are fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken). - You are highly proficient in MS Office and can navigate it with ease.
