Company Description Wijnbar Clos specializes in handmade wines, original dishes inspired by the wine regions of our wine producers. Located at Beukenplein, our spacious venue is the perfect spot for a cozy drink or a unique dinner experience. Role Description This is a full-time role for a Sous Chef located on-site in Amsterdam. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, managing kitchen staff, preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and overseeing inventory and ordering supplies. Qualifications Professional cooking skills, including experience in culinary techniques and food preparation Ability to manage and supervise kitchen staff members Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Communication skills to effectively work as part of a team Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Formal culinary training or certification is a plus Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
