We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric colleague to join our Withlocals team as a Customer Support Officer with a strong commercial mindset. As a key member of our customer support department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while also identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive revenue and promote customer loyalty. Your goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues efficiently, and maximize business growth through upselling and cross-selling. Please know that
being fully remote is not an option
for this role, so only apply if you can actually be in our Eindhoven office in The Netherlands for at least 2 days a week. Being able to work during some of the weekends will be considered a big plus (and will result in higher pay).

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and hosts, responding to inquiries and providing timely and accurate information through various channels such as phone, email, and live chat.
Develop a deep understanding of our Withlocals tours to effectively address guest & host needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Withlocals Tours to new and existing customers, using a consultative approach to understand their requirements and suggest other relevant tours.
Proactively engage with guests and hosts to gather feedback, identify areas of improvement, and relay this information to the appropriate teams within Withlocals.
Troubleshoot and resolve guest and host issues, taking ownership of problems and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This includes handling of complaints and bad reviews.
Providing insights and feedback on guest preferences and pain points.
Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
Stay up to date with industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations and enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience);
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for revenue generation;
Excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach;
Tech savvy, comfortable with CRM tooling, chatbots, ticketing systems, analytics dashboards;
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strong attention to detail;
Being able to draw a clear line regarding non-acceptable behaviour from hosts or guests;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively;
Positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to work well under pressure;
A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with guests, hosts and colleagues;
We would like you to join the team in our Eindhoven office for onboarding and direct collaboration for at least 2 days a week;
