The Role As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing embedded software solutions. Your expertise will contribute to developing state-of-the-art technologies that advance performance and functionality. Key responsibilities include: Designing, implementing, and verifying software subsystems, modules, and components. Writing high-quality, structured, and maintainable code. Debugging and maintaining existing software solutions. Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to enhance design and development outcomes. Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas in sprint planning, retrospectives, and architectural discussions. Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior engineers. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will be a driven professional with strong technical acumen and a passion for innovation. You’ll need: A degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. At least six years of experience in embedded software development on Linux or Windows platforms. Expertise in modern C++ and additional experience with C, Python, or MATLAB. Familiarity with methodologies like Object-Oriented Design, UML, Design Patterns, Agile, and TDD. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a bonus.
