Human Resources Shared Services Manager


Interim HR Service Delivery Consultant Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Employment Type: Contract/Interim Role Overview: The Interim HR Service Delivery Consultant will be responsible for optimising HR operations, reducing reliance on outsourced HR services, and enhancing service levels within the organisation. The role focuses on process improvement, HR technology implementation, and SLA management to drive efficiency and enhance the employee experience. Key Responsibilities: HR Service Delivery & Process Optimisation Assess the current HR service delivery model and identify opportunities to reduce outsourcing and improve in-house capabilities . Implement process improvements to streamline HR operations and enhance efficiency. Develop and execute HR transformation strategies to align with business needs. SLA & Performance Management Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for HR services. Ensure continuous improvement of HR service delivery through performance tracking and reporting. Identify and resolve bottlenecks in HR operations to enhance response times and service quality. HR Technology & Automation Drive the adoption of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, ServiceNow HRSD) to automate and enhance service delivery. Implement self-service solutions to reduce administrative burden and improve employee experience . Leverage data analytics and reporting to support decision-making and optimise HR processes. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Manage and renegotiate contracts with third-party HR vendors to optimise cost and service quality . Partner with HR teams to transition outsourced functions in-house where beneficial. Work closely with business leaders and HR stakeholders to align service delivery improvements with company goals. Change & People Management Lead change management initiatives to support the transition from outsourced to in-house HR services. Provide training and upskilling for internal HR teams to build expertise and enhance capability. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the HR function. Key Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in HR service delivery, HR operations, or shared services within a corporate environment. Strong background in HR process improvement, SLA management, and HR technology implementation . Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, ServiceNow HRSD) . Knowledge of vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimisation strategies . Strong analytical skills with experience in HR metrics, reporting, and performance management . Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills. Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies is desirable.
