For a client in the fashion business based in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior Merchandise Planner Ecommerce. For more information, please read the job description below. Responsibilities: - Divisional / product category planning (pre-season planning, KPI monitoring, in season management). - Collaboration with Buying teams to review in-season performance in order to optimize sales and minimize end stock. - Review seasonal intake requirements to optimize stock flow. - Weekly, MTD, YTD, STD trade performance analyses by country and division (sales, stock, markdown and margin) - Manage divisional/product category hindsight, buy budget, range plans based on historic performance and anticipated future development, sign offs and buy placement with merchandisers. - Attend global product meetings to understand assortment strategy. The ideal candidate - Ideally 5+ years of digital planning experience preferably within Ecommerce. - Preferred education: Business, Fashion management. - Strong numerical skills. - Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multi-task. - Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in spreadsheet analyses to derive quantitative and qualitative business insights from data. - Knowledge of SAP, BW, HANA; basic knowledge of Web analytics a plus. - Ability to summarize and visualize unstructured queries into a compact insight. - Team player with excellent social skills to build and strengthen the everyday relationship between core teams: buying and site merchandising. - Fluency in English is required.
