No. 3 St James’s Street - based in the office 3 days a week when not travelling or at events. Required to spend extensive time in our key markets. There will also be a requirement to make occasional visits to the No.3 Distillery experience centre in Holland.
The job in a nutshell
This is a vital role in winning the hearts and minds of the global drinks trade and consumers to fuel growth for No.3 Gin as the ‘definitive luxury gin brand’. You will be a walking advertorial for No.3, helping define the brand personality and building brand perception through the way you implement agreed activities and connect with people to share your brand knowledge, category expertise and passion for the spirits industry. As a key member of the team, you’ll be a catalyst in driving awareness, visibility, and advocacy whether it is influencing the influential or introducing new drink-makers to our Pursuit of Perfection.

What you will do
Win hearts and minds for No.3 Gin with Global consumers and trade customers by taking a lead role in the implementation of agreed brand activity in line with luxury positioning.
Be the face of the brand for trade – face-to-face, via your own social media channels & video/photo.
Develop, execute and communicate training programme globally.
Conduct and promote best in class brand trainings, masterclasses, bar takeovers and tasting events to increase brand engagement across both on & off-trade globally. Some trainings may be done via digital channels – Teams/Zoom.
Lead bottled cocktail liquid development, partnership launches and bartender liaison.
Act as the key relationship builder for key accounts, trade network and trade partners (e.g. Pursuit of Perfection partnerships).
Drive relationships with key trade influencers and actively seek out and manage collaborations.
Liaise with distributor networks and set up immersion sessions with key international markets (Italy & Germany).
Work closely with International Sales Managers to develop activation and advocacy plans in key international markets.
Lead central advocacy projects e.g. drinks strategy, advocacy platform or Pursuit of Perfection activations, and communicate these to key international sales and ambassador teams.
Mentor and train No.3 market ambassadors and host monthly calls to track progress and share learnings – UK, USA & Italy.
Provide ongoing insight about Gin category and spirits industry trends and feedback on implementation and effectiveness of marketing programmes.
Represent No.3 Gin at appropriate press and industry events in key markets.
Manage and lead the Global Cocktail Competition and drive trade participation, work with key markets on activating their competitions.
Host the No.3 Distillery experience in Schiedam for international visitors.
Educate and train BB&R, Edrington and distributor staff to be confident in selling No.3 Gin, drumming up support and advocacy ensuring No.3 is front of mind for the sales teams.
Work at events to help promote No.3 and recruit new luxury lifestyle drinkers of No.3 Gin.
Assist UK market where necessary on events and activations.
Keep the BB&R Brands team and distributor network updated on activity agreed/completed with their accounts.
Manage your T&S budget to ensure activations are delivered within the agreed framework.
Manage & plan specific activation budgets e.g. Global Cocktail Competition.
What you will bring to the role
Experience / Achievements
Demonstrable experience in Spirits Industry.
Evidence of hitting targets and enhancing brand strength.
Previous roles working for a brand building company desirable.
Your Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
Knowledgeable and passionate about high quality spirits.
Encyclopaedic knowledge of cocktails and advanced bartending techniques.
Strong presentation skills, whether one-to-one or large group situations.
Social media savvy.

Qualification
Degree level (or equivalent).
Full current UK driving licence.
