This company develops, manufactures, and sells energy-storage solutions based on batteries. Employees have extensive experience in a variety of industries, including industrial automation, small and medium hydropower facilities, and, of course, lithium and other battery systems. Systems that are suited for a wide range of applications are being developed. Initially with a primary focus on the Netherlands, it was immediately approached by enterprises and (semi) governments around the world due to its broad deploy ability.

They are looking for a structured Inside Project Engineer for the Energy Solutions Benelux division who, together with his/her team in Belgium and the Netherlands, you will take care of the technical elaboration and project offers. The Project Engineer coordinates his/her work mainly from the office and will occasionally be present in the field for technical support, in short, a real control function with technical specialism!

The role:

• The technical elaboration of projects and project applications;
• Solution-oriented advice to clients in their projects;
• Managing the profitability of projects and service contracts;
• Reviewing service reports and following up on actions resulting from them;
• Sporadic visits to customer sites in the Netherlands for technical advice, support or to prepare larger project offers;
• Translating the customer's request into a project/product solution (after internal training) in collaboration with the account managers;
• Drawing up risk analyses and handling warranty claims;
• Helping to optimize existing internal processes with regard to service and projects;
• Occasionally giving training courses in collaboration with the account manager(s) to customers.

The requirements:

• In possession of an engineering or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering;
• Can present experience in a similar position in the electrical engineering project and/or installation sector;
• Knowledge of UPS or backup power systems is a plus (but not a 'must');
• Has good communication skills, can think along commercially / technically;
• Works team-oriented / can work well together;
• Has a good command of Dutch, English verbally and in writing;
• Administratively meticulous and correct;
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, especially Excel, Outlook) and general computer use.
• Willing to learn technically in order to eventually become our 'technical face' and the backing for our customers and our local team.
