Business Intelligence (BI) Manager

As a growing organization, we are seeking a hands-on Business Intelligence manager to manage and elevate our business intelligence environment. The Business Intelligence Manager will play a pivotal role in bridging business operations with technology by developing robust data models and information systems tailored to the renewable biomethane energy industry. This individual will lead efforts to ensure data-driven decision-making, manage business intelligence systems, and optimize the intelligence of commodity trading, bio certificates pricing, feedstock pricing, and risk management processes. Data Modelling and Business Insights: Build and improve business intelligence platforms (such as power BI) for collecting, analyzing, and modeling business data relevant to manage the sourcing of biomethane. Collaborate with business stakeholders to design IT solutions that enhance strategic decision-making. Business Intelligence Systems Management: Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and software to ensure reliability and scalability. Ensure seamless integration of data systems across departments (operations, finance, and commerce). Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding of project goals. Work closely with commerce, supply chain teams, and finance to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Define and execute the BI strategy to align with the organization’s vision for to buy biomethane energy and to sell Renewable Transport Fuel Commodity’s. Train and actively inform team members to foster a culture of business intelligence. Expertise in data modeling, database management, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Certifications in BI management or data analytics (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, Certified Data Management Professional). 5+ years of experience in business intelligence ~ Familiarity with lifecycle assessments (LCA), carbon footprint analyses, and energy certification processes. ~ Expertise in data modeling, database management, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Bachelor / Master (preferred) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field Certifications in BI management or data analytics (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, Certified Data Management Professional). Note: The candidate must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands (i.e., a valid Dutch work permit or visa). We are unable to consider applicants who require visa sponsorship or authorization to work from outside the EU.
