SAP Support Consultant (in-house role)

The company

For a large industry leading manufacturing company based in the Zaandam area I am looking for an experienced SAP Support Consultant.

The role

As a functional SAP Support Consultant you work in a challenging environment, providing SAP support for the international SAP customers. You are key contact for the SAP user community and are monitoring, analyzing and dispatching all our SAP incidents and requests.

You will work in a small support team and have responsibility over the SAP support tool and support process.

Key focus areas

• Analyzing, solving and dispatching SAP incidents and requests from our SAP key users and SAP process owners
• Responsible for maintaining our SAP process owner and key user community
• SAP user maintenance and authorization requests processing
• Developing and maintaining SAP support procedures and tooling, e.g. SAP Solution Manager
• Support FSCC Management with reporting and ICS controls processes • Maintaining FSCC SAP support documentation and distribution to the SAP community

Your qualifications

• Minimal 5 years’ experience in working in SAP support functions
• Experience with support on the SAP FICO and/or SAP SD/MM modules
• You have good knowledge and experience in IT Service Management processes, and preferably an ITIL background
• You have a pro-active mentality, an enthusiastic team spirit and a customer oriented focus
• You have good communication skills, are fluently in English as this company serves SAP users worldwide
• You are able to guide and coach our key users and process owners in their SAP incident and request processes
• You are process oriented and accurate
• You have a hands-on approach and are self-supporting
