As our Senior Indirect Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end the ASICS EMEA VAT compliance function and its transformation to automation, including third-party co-source, as well as partnering with existing IT, Finance and other business teams in the areas of VAT matters. Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Head of Tax, as part of the role, you’ll: Prepare and file indirect tax returns (to be done in-house) on time and accurately, adhering to all deadlines and under local regulations. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with up-to-date requirements. Comply with tax authorities and support the team with data reconciliation, simplification, and understanding across different data sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure tax compliance across all business areas. 4 - 6 years of experience in VAT advisory, planning and compliance at an international tax advisory firm. ~ Knowledge of indirect tax technical principles and regulations in EMEA countries. ~ Strong analytical skills to interpret and analyse tax technical data. ~ How we’ll help you.
