Assistant Store Manager

Job Scope

We are looking to recruit for various locations in The Netherlands.

Assistant Manager uses their skills and experience to assist in the overall management of the store by maximizing sales and profitability, leading and motivating a team, delegating and prioritizing tasks effectively and in the Manager’s, absence taking responsibility for stock, cash and store security. As a EssilorLuxottica ambassador the store manager will role model the EssilorLuxottica values and the Sunglass Hut culture.

Areas of Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager to achieve high levels of sales performance and results
  • Ensure all operating policies and procedures are followed
  • Play a key part in asset protection training and reporting
  • Ensure accurate operation of the POS system and account for all transactions (credit, returns)
  • Open and close the store according to established guidelines
  • Drive performance to ensure all KPIs are achieved and store turnover targets are met
  • Support the Store Manager in the daily running of the store
  • Network effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain inspiring visual merchandising in store as per guidelines
  • Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
  • Know the product inside and out and stay fresh with new merchandise, trends and competitive activity
  • Create an engaging and positive working environment following the Sunglass Hut experience
  • Coach associates to consistently deliver effective selling behaviors resulting in high customer engagement
  • Address associate concerns in a reasonable and fair manner consistent with the Company values
  • Assists with recruitment, training and development of the team
